Tuffie is my baby and she has been waiting to be born for about 15 years. I just never really knew what exactly Tuffie should be about…until now…at least for a start. I hope that she will evolve and grow the more I learn and the more other people (like you:-) become involved. Right now though I am just so relieved to finally see this taking some kind of shape…like she’s coming alive.
My grandmother was a wonderful woman. She and my mother raised the four of us together until she died in 1975. I was 16 when she died. I absolutely adored her and Tuffie was my knick-name for her. She had a very hard life and was very strong…especially spiritually.
I guess that is really the vision… Tuffie is strong and spiritual. I always think of Tuffie in a female sense but men can be Tuffie’s too. Men like Chris Hedges and Max Igan…and regular men like my brother. It’s about people who speak the truth and stand up for something.
As for the site itself, still working on the layout and content..but what I am trying to do is have it become a hub of information, for people who are much too busy to search all over the internet to find this kind of information. And obviously draw their own conclusions. I have a ton of links that I have been saving since September that I am in the process of posting.
So there will be all of the information on the Issues, and then there will be The Solutions…which will grow over time. But the one thing that I keep coming back to is that the only real solution to a mess this big has got to be cosmic…spiritual…a miracle.
I hope it grows and grows, and that people like you get involved with it.
